Wow, this Subie:
Beat the record set by this:
Seriously though, the Isle of Man course is crazy. Lot's of fun watching the motorcycles do it.
STi Record: 19 minutes and 56.7 seconds
John McGuinness on a 2009 Honda CBR1000RR: 17 minutes and 12.3 seconds

I think it's cool and all, and I'm definitely not hating, but this doesn't seem to be that big of a deal to me. It seems as if Subaru was like: "Where's a track that we can break the record and get good publicity out of it?" They beat a 20 year old car, big deal IMO, the STi was obviously going to kill it... Now if this sparks other manufactures to get involved to see what cars have bragging rights at Isle of Man then I'm all for it. But until other cars from the same class as the STI put up or shut up then I'll see it as just a publicity stunt.
