Will my cracked windshield shatter?

I know this may sound stupid, but here I go. I cracked my window 2 months ago, and since then the crack spread from the top part of the passenger side windshield all the way to the middle part of the windshield. I'm going to Reno tomorrow, but I'm worried that while driveing over the mountain whille it's snowing or windy that the crack will spread some more and eventually shatter. I know the crack will probably spread, but I hope it doesn't shatter. Thanks

isn't the front windsheild laminated glass?? so even if the whole piece of glass is cracked, it'll still stay in one peice.

yeah, it should stay in place. I used to have a really old Toyota Cressida, and it cracked and it eventually made a circle, but it was fine.

In a crash instead of breaking like its supposed to, it could just snap in half and come into the front seats. Unless you wanan risk bein cut in half, you should get it fixed soon.

even if u replaced it, in a accident, u diont really know what would happen, but as far as the glass shattering, on the side windows will shatter due to the fact that it is tempered glass

the front windshield is a laminated peice, where it's actually 2 pieces of glasses glued together by a plastic film so it holds all the broke/cracked glass together in 1 peice
