i think you should be fine..90 days seem too long for it to still be in your hair..

 

i think certain drugs just stay dormant in your system that long. like meth or ecstacy or something

 

i believe they test the root as well as the shank of the hair...

 

it depends really on how much you would smoke up, and how often for how long. the reason is being that the chemicals that they detect stay in your hair and continue to be reproduced in your hair until the 90 or so days after you quit...so if you had quit for 90 days, THEN got a short hair cut...you would be okay. not too short though cause they'll get it from other places on your body. my buddy got rejected from a job at stanford because of this. hope all works out well for you though man.

Well at my job we had a contract worker who was trying to become fulltime. He smoked a lot of weed and before his drug test he quit for a month I think and on the day of his drug test he buzzed his hair down to like a 1 with clippers. With the sample they pulled he failed his test and was not hired. Hope you have better luck.

I applied for a summer student position, so hopefully they won't have as strict parameters as they would for someone trying to work there fulltime.

I dunno, just pray for me lol... I really need they money and the scoobie needs some new goodies this summer.

 

Well I wish you the best of luck. If it falls through I hope you find somewhere that won't feel the need to invade your privacy in order to hire you. Not that I think people should be blazing while working, but usually these sorts of test would put someone who smoked a j a month ago in the same category as a habitual meth user or something when the real world difference seems rather large.

 

I have heard of some kind of shampoos that you can use in order to prevent the test from working accurately? I've heard that it works pretty well.

I guess you could just shave EVERYTHING, even eyebrows.

The hair test sucks. It's hit or miss. Depending on metabolisim, it usually only takes a couple weeks for pot to leave your system. I think with the hair test it does stay a little longer.

I took a **** test a couple years ago and passed after only having quit for about two or three weeks. Good luck, let us know how it turns out.
