I just had a job interview this morning. I am pretty much guranteed the job as long as I pass the drug test. I quit blazin about a month and a half ago. They gave me the hair drug test and said anything from the past 90 days will show up. Also I just cut my hair fairly short on Monday, less than 1''. They sampled the hair from my head in 5 places.

So am I screwed or do I have a chance? Anyone else have to deal with this before?

 

what's a 'hair" drug test? never heard of that before.

 

If they just pulled from your head you should probably be good to go.

 

drugs will show in your hair. They can test for certain things. Typically they take hair from several different places, because most people don't cut ALL of their hair if you know what I mean.

wtf? what kind of job is this? They're doing a hair follicle? I've been tested a fair share before, I've never done a hair follicle. I would have taken a razor and clean shaven my head Although they have other places they can get hair as well...

I hope you pass buddy, I've been there sweating on a test and it's not fun. Normally for a job it's just a **** test...this must be a good job.

Forgot to mention in this time peroid (a month and a half) my hair was cut twice, once at the beginning of this month and again on Monday of this week.

 

Working out is my antidrug....what's yours? Haha...what ever it is...it's not helping you out....hahaha.

Yeah, if they're looking for it in your hair it will show up. The thing you need to hope for though is that there isn't a high concentration which would make your risk level lower.

The company won't get a sheet that says "this dude blazed up a while back." They'll get a sheet showing a risk factor or level for you based on chemicals they found. If you have lower concentrations or only concentrations of a few things your risk factors might be lower. You should have just told the drug testing center that you were on Codine or something so your risk assesment will come out with a higher barrier to putting you in a higher risk category lol.
