Will I Be Able To Run High 12's Low 13's W/ This Set-Up?

Gutted up-pipe
HKS DP
3" mid-pipe (the pipe where the resonator used to be.)
3" axle-back connected to a Buddy Club exhaust.
Headers (if I buy from Impala SS AutoX)
MBC @ 15 psi
Blitz intake (not that it makes a difference performance wise)

I ran a 13.6 @ Sac raceway with this set-up:
HKS DP
3" mid-pipe
2.5" axle-back connected to a Buddy Club exhaust.
MBC @ 15 PSI
Blitz intake

If not what else do I need to do to get to high 12's?
THanks guys

Victor

no the best i would see you doing is still mid 13's. Your going to need some form of engine management to get you to low 13's and thats with a great launch. To get into the 12's more realisticly you will need an upgraded turbo or a 50shot,

I'd say mid 13's to high 13's(13.5-13.8), the 2 mods you have added since your last run dont do much with the set up you have. Intake makes you lose power if anything else, I used to have it what a waist of money! It's recomended you just get a drop in filter instead which is the best way to go. Headers won't help much unless your running over 300 whp dyno jet then you will see a big improvement, not saying they wont help just saying they wont help much.

I recomend to get to where you want get rid of the intake, get a drop in filter, get your car tunned, you may be able to run 16psi's then, these things will help you.... If you still have money do the turbo injector, fuel pump mod.

You are running, essentially, a TurboXS stage 2 right now. Turn up the boost to 16psi, run a little toluene or 100 octane for knock, and if you can pull off a perfect launch (low 1.8, high 1.7 60 ft. time) you may run in the low 13's (13.6-13.3). You will need engine management to get anything more out of your car at the moment. Unless you have one of those Factory Freaks. Right now your problem is probably boost and octane related. For instance, I ran a 13.6 with my TurboXS stage 2 at Sears Point so I know what I am talking about.

To run 12's, you will need larger turbo, injectors, fuel pump, intercooler and engine management.

Good luck at the track.

I have a MBC so boost spike is a B****. I'm probably gonna do a re-flash, but as far as new turbo, TMIC or FMIC, probably not gonna happen for a while. Thanks for all the advise fellas.

Kurlee what do you run nowadays with your Stage 4?

I'm wondering if I'd break into the 12's with my setup (Cobb's VF34 setup).

Don't know yet. I haven't run it with my boost controller mystery solved yet. Wednesday March 3rd is the first day of Wednesday night drags, so I will find out.

FYI, 12's are hard to accomplish at Sears Point with 91 octane unless you are a VERY GOOD DRIVER. AKA RSTURBO and McGuyver.
