i don't think gas will be over $5/gal by the end of june, but maybe close
to it . but i'm sure all diesel will be, it's already $5.19/gal here in town. my work truck took $140 to full it up(and that was at $4.79/gal a week ago) it's insane!

you're seriously proud of voting for quite possibly the worst pres. in the history of the United States?

And yes the price of gas is directly related to him and what the oil companies and OPEC are doing... BY CHOICE.

OPEC is holding back and U.S. based companies are driving up prices on purpose. They're overproducing right now and still raising the prices.

Will gas hit $5. Somewhere yes. Everywhere no.

Its not going to be $5 by the end of june. Production has already increased and we should see some relief in the near future.

Also, blaming Bush for the high gas prices is an extremely ignorant thing to do.

Not saying its all his fault but claiming he has nothing to do with it would be the TRULY ignorant thing to do.

It easily could.

I saw Diesel was $4.95/gallon at the 76(?) station at the end of 237 in mountain view today.

That is also a very misinformed statement. Supply is lower than ever, some due to decreased production by OPEC countries, some due to attacks on a pipeline, I dont recall when or where it was. Also, you can blame increased demand in India and China. With cars like the Tata, the super cheap one, petroleum based personal transportation has been more affordable than ever and there are more cars on the road now than there ever have been before. Demand is up and supply is down, I dont think you need an economics degree to predict what happens in those circumstances.

Dont get me wrong, I hate Bush, think he is one of the worst presidents we have ever had, but he certainly is not to blame, at least not entirely, for the current oil crisis.

You did say it was all his fault when you said the price of gas is directly related to him.

are you that fool that calls live 105 screaming about how Bush is the reason why gas is so expensive?

there are so many other factors that you can't just blame Bush. and watching the crude price patterns is stupid too. there was a point in the 90s when they said a barrel would rush past $100. yeah, it did, more than 10 years later.

$5 by end of june, possible, but not likely. $5 in the foreseeable future. i'd say yes.

I dont think we will consistently see those kind of prices for at least 12 months, if not longer. Production is up by around 600,000 barrels a day. Oil is going up right now due to speculation from futures traders in the markets trying to artifically inflate oil as high as it will go so they can sell it short and make a bundle. Itll be back to 3.50 in a month or so.
