I drove all the stages this last Saturday, there's gonna be some broken cars by the end of the second day....

The spectator area at Hungry Valley should be pretty cool, a nice hillside view of the finish of one stage and the start of the next, and they loop them twice so it'll be like 3 hours of a rally car every minute (and I get to be the first one!).

Del Sur is in nice shape, but the Santa Clara Divide stuff is gonna be rough.

Neil, are you and Moike doing Recce?

Nope, no recce for us. We'll be all right. I'm too slow to actually hurt the car. :-)

Most years I'd agree with you, but I think even you might be able to find a way to break it on one slump I'm thinking about, and watch out for the ruts and washouts on the transit between Magic Mtn and Messenger flats...

What, is that transit even worse than usual? That bit of road is HORRIBLE!

Yes, its always been bad but imagine it after oh, say, about 100 inches of rain-

which is about how much they had down there this winter.

A lot of the transit and stage roads we usually use are still closed;

This one they just threw some cold patch on, no problem, just pay attention when moike says "double caution dip"
