I am running 18X8.5 with 235/40s i forget the exact offset. my suspension isn't "Stock" but its not coil overs, its swift springs on re-valved stock struts. NO rubbing issues what so ever. I thought about going to a 245 tire just not sure i want to roll on a 35 series plus the tire options are less than a 235.

No prob. when i get home i will take a look at the paperwork and see if it is listed and ill look at my rim and see if it says on it anywhere. After looking online it looks like my offset is 48mm.

+40 with a 235 will be no problem at all. I run a 245/40 on a 18x8.5 ET42 with no rubbing. You'll be totally fine, especially if not slammed/tucking tire.

Should work. I had space +45 on a 235/45 and..... I drive a legacy... So shouldn't be a problem with the wider fenders.
