Wilderness Survival Camps

I am trying to find a wilderness survival camp for summer, but I don't know any good ones. I have googled around, but it has been hit or miss.

I am looking for a month long camp, but I seem to only find weekends, week long, or 9 month. haha

Anyone have any suggestions?

Not sure if that is exactly what you're looking for but I have had some training from Brian Horner. He's a really great guy and he knows his ****.

I did a 28 day course in the Three Sisters Wilderness area in Oregon back when I was a teenager.

+1.

I went through the 9th IDs E&E course at Mt Rainer, summer & winter classes.
Not quite as hard core as I would've liked, but very good.

I know a dude that went through the Norwegian School of Winter Warfare

and said the "survival" aspect of the course kicked ***.

I just think it would be a fun summer adventure.

If it's "fun", it's usless.

Get the United States Air Force Search and Rescue Survival Training: Af Regulation 64-4
and then head up to Desolation Wilderness

I need a course. I need to be shown things as opposed to reciting it out of a book. You know?
