LOL, is this kid white? does he have a San Remo Red WRX (04-05) with Gruppe-S on the back window and a loud exhaust? that guys hella funny... I've seen him in Pleasanton.

 

obviously the guys who I waved at were enthusiasts, with there wheels, suspension, exhaust and exterior mods...I'm not bitter, I just think it's lame to be such a *** and drive a WRX

 

I waved today, it was cool, he nodded or waved back, I forget. Another time I pulled up next to a silver wagon, looks stalk, and i turn to make eye contact, that guy just kept looking straight, i inched a little, nope, he was kinda young and asian too. and i drive a silver sti. shrug!

 

ya know what. this may sound corny but what about going past the subaru or impreza thing. why can't just people be cool? like impreza or not. enthusiasts or not. whats so bad about waving? or acknoledging each other? Riders do it 24/7 from Sport bikes down to the 250 dirt bikes on the road. Trust me, if someone, anyone in any car waved at me, male or female. I'd return the wave.

 

Wow, if people get this hurt over a stranger not waving, I can't imagine how they would react in a road rage situation, LOL. It's not liked these strangers flipped you off or something...

I get waves and 'v' signs all the time from other Impreza owners, in town or on the freeway. If occasionally someone doesn't wave, it takes me about two seconds to get over it.

Of course, my car also sports official i-Club.com stickers prominently displayed on three sides, so someone pulling alongside knows I'm a fellow member.

I would say 1 out of 5 will wave back....

 

That's so sad...

nobody is HURT, and nobody has posted in some crazy way...we are just making discussion on the forum about recent stuff

It's ok, I guess, if they don't wave. I'm a nice dude. I think it's a reflection of how alot of people act in america these days, rude and selfish, no matter the situation.

 

Imprezas are too popular nowadays. I stopped caring years ago. It was cool 3-4 years ago, but now it's different. If the guy isn't looking over or anything, I ain't doing jack squat. I still throw up a peace sign if I'm ahead of a fixed up Suby, then move on with my life, but that's about it. Nowadays, owning a Subaru doesn't exactly put all of us into an exclusive Stonecutters (Simpsons reference) sort of club. So I'm not surprised when Suby owners don't know why the hell they're being greeted or do nothing.

I'm happy subaru brought out that suv. they need to make more SUV's

 

im not always paying attention but if i see other suby owners i always give them a 2 finger salute
its true alot of them are not car lovers like the rest of us

 

just give em the thumbs up, then slowly turn it to a thumbs down if you really want attention.

 

I give the peace sign all the time.. but most of the time I get ignored and look like and idiot. If my girl is riding with me.. she will laugh.. which makes me more of an idiot.
