Um SRT-4?
Well when I started looking to get a car I looked seriously at the SRT-4. Honest.. I settled on the STi pretty quick but...
The SRT-4 is a Neon.
Stick a turbo on it and it is still a neon
Put thicker tires on it and it is still a neon
Put a wacky CD with a half *** sub and it is still a neon
Put a wing on it that really does nothing expcept block your view and it is still a neon
I didn't want a @#$#@$%#E neon so I baught an STi.
On that note I heard a lot of folks worry about what the turbo would do to the head gaskets on the SRT-4. The neons have had issues with out a turbo now you up the ocmpression and that is just asking for issues.
Dodge did a real half *** job on this one and I think it will die off. If they had dropped a different engine altogether in it with a different tranny they might have done better, but they took the easy route to try and make something that looks cool but doesn't have any perfomrance where it counts. Admitatdly the car is light so it is zippy, but in handling and braking I would go with an EVO 8 "GULP" before an SRT-4

Yes, their cars are much faster than a WRX.
And yes, the owner does do his fair share of agressive driving and blowing off at people, trying to instigate.
But his wee-wee is small cause he's asian, not because he drives an SRT.

Not really trying to defend SRTs, and definitely not SRT drivers, but c'mon every enthusiast car attracts different types...it's funny to see everyone get worked up about SRTs, are you threatened?

Strange I saw an incident the other day involving some ******* SRT-4 driver. I was walking near Mission Blv in Fremont and at one red light there where 2 people in a black stock Mustang Cobra who looked to be in their 50's. Anyhow, as I glance at the Cobra, I see a silver SRT-4 (lowered, silver w/black rims) with some punk *** 16 year old chubby kid sitting in the drivers seat coming from the opposite lane. As the light turns green he GLARES at the old people and blows off his BOV, now when I mean GLARE I mean MUG, and it was a hard mug. It just baffled me that this stuff really goes on. I'm sure there are a good portion of friendly SRT-4 drivers but to me it seems like alot of the crowd are just punkass kids

GET REAL!! btw i understand there are normal srt-4 owners (seen many older drivers) but id say the srt-4 owners club is full of more dipsheits then any other make.
