Word of mouth/ referals = 50% of new customers.
Internet Searching = 20%
i-club.com = 15%
Direct Marketing= 15%

Word of mouth is definitely the biggest part of our business, but I-Club offers a good area to announce new services, products, expansions, etc that would otherwise be difficult to let the community know of.

Ah, gotcha, but I would imagine that a lot of the word of mouth originated from the online forums, such as this site. Don't you think? I could be wrong though.

Thanks for breaking it down Paul, I've always been curious to see how you guys (all of our great bay area vendors) get business.

My parents have a contracting business, and they are 100% word of mouth... I def would rather listen to someone for advice then to read it somewhere in some ad. Good thing about this site is that you can advertise and get word of mouth especially since you guys have a good reputation.
