Any advantage in a non-turbo car though?

Hmm, thanks! Though, there's no FLEXFUEL badge on my Camaro..

That's pretty cool, even just for the savings but if it's so much higher in octane, it will help with CA's crappy gas. 87 makes my Justy ping, and it's 9.0:1 compression. Redonkulous!

That's cool, I had no idea.

Thanks!!

Thats the downfall of E85 you lose a bit of milage when compared to 87-91.

Its takes more E85 to make the same power of unleaded gas.

I dont think so Matt. FlexFuel vehicles are just designed to be able to burn 2 different fuels. It wont equal to any HP gains.

It will equal horsepower and torque gains because it is a higher octane. Same reason why our cars make so much more power and torque using it over 91 octane.

But think about it, we are being tuned to use E85 to its full potential. As an alternative race fuel

Thats like saying a car meant to use 87 octane and if you put 91 your going to get a boost in HP/TQ

Overall, E85 use cut our fuel economy to 12.3 mpg--a reduction of 16.3 percent versus unleaded (though with no noticeable effect on vehicle power or performance). But thanks to significant E85 cost savings, our loss of fuel economy was offset by a commensurate 16.7 percent reduction in fuel cost

Check Propel's website. You can always contact them and see if they have any plans in the works about opening a station up in the City.
