If it was me on 87 this morning, I'm real sorry about that. I was riding on a donut so I was focusing on driving.

My bad.

I'm from the east coast, small nice suburban town (Englewood, NJ), and it was common courtesy to wave back if someone waved a friendly wave at you.

I guess people here are just a little more mean because there are a lot of weirdos here.

If I wave first, sometimes I get a wave or peace sign back. But if someone waves first, I always wave back. My '06 WRX appears stock, but I have Cobb Stage 1.

weird, I had someone wave at me today but didn't realize it til they were down the street. Sometimes I'm just zoning out and don't see it, but I've only had the car for 3 weeks, still adjusting to subaru life. I'll make a resolution to wave at everyone, that way I can't be at fault again.

I barely ever see subies when I am out. And when I do, they never wave.

i found a solution for this.. whenever you see another suby, lay on the horn. they will look. that is when you stick half your body out the window and flail your arms like an idiot. usually they will laugh/wave

I wave or throw up the peace sign to other WRXs. I don't really give a damn if they wave back either...they either are trying not to wave (so they're probably some type of elitist sociopath) or they didn't see me. If they do wave back, bonus for both of us.

i used to wave a lot... but ever since I graduated and started working full-time... I just try to get from point A to point B (home <-> work) ASAP. Plus, only few Subies during my commute hours.

Plus, I think people that own Subaru and on i-club ratio is much smaller now.

Meaning, people buy Subaru because it's a good car, not necessary auto enthusiast like us.
