Question Why do you need a reflash for turbo back?

Please explain why a reflash is need for turbo back? I have a stage 1 reflash, then I started to wonder what happens with stage 2? What parameters are changed? Is their more torque or hp or just basic tunning?

..Thanks all

The boost control parameters for stage 1 are not optimal when you remove all those restrictions from the exhaust.

It will work, just like the stock ecu "works" with a TBE, you just won't get maximum power.

also, when you remove all the Cats....your car will start to run really rich...and will backfire alot....so a reflash will remap your air/fuel ratios as well as your boost control to give you the max. amount of power/driveability for the specific types of mods that you DO have. Thats why reflashes are done in "stages" because each "stage" consists of differenet types of mods. Although each "stage" is dependent on the stage before it....ex. stage 1 mods are required to complete a stage 2 upgrade and so on.
