come on... give the animals a break...
they dont know anything about car insurances or mortgages...
we as humans try to interact with them since we are higher on the food chain (pun intended).
just chalk it up to an accident and hope the chicken is okay...

All I can say is.. That sucks dude! Hope you don't have to pay a fortune to get it fixed or replaced.
