try changing your DNS server from comcast's to 66.159.225.66
I just had a couple people try it on their comcast lines and all better now.

That IP points to my BIND server on my DSL line, 6Mbps download, 700Kbps upload. so I can handle a bit of extra DNS traffic.

HAHHAHHAAAH!

ComCast = 0wN3D!

+1 for DSLExtreme! I am surprised ComCast has not brought up other DNS servers and changed the DNS servers that the DHCP servers are pushing out.
stupid DoS script kiddies, or sTUPID net admins.

You are only changing DNS servers:

here are instructions for windows XP

1. Click on Start --> Control Panel --> Network & Internet
Connections --> Network Connections

2. Right click on Local Area Connections and select
Properties

3. Click on Internet Protocol [TCP/IP] --> Properties

4. Select Use the following IP Address

5. Select Use the following DNS server addresses

6. Enter 66.159.225.66 as the Preferred DNS server

They upped my download to 4 megs. I'll take an occasional outage. I haven't had close to the problems people on SBC has had.
