today is PRESIDENTS DAY.

but the "union" at the place i work, decided holidays such as these (columbus day, veterans day, admissions day) are all pushed towards the end of the year, after christmas and between new years.

sigh...

oh btw, we do get MLK and cesar chavez day off on their real dates...

I don't get today nor MLK day off either, but it's designated as a floating holiday, so I guess we can choose which holiday we want to take off. I choose pikachu, and now, I'm stuck at the office.

We only get labour, memorial, independance, thanksgiving, christmas and new years.

 

i'm working ... we don;t get any of those holidays. But the biggest kick is that the client is not working but us outside consultants are so now there is two of us in the whole building and I am about to blow my brains out from boredom

We're an Asian company, the only holidays we get....well, there aren't any.
