Nothin' wrong with a little non-violent protesting.
SJSU is supposed to be picketed by UAWU today and we were given instructions how to respond to harassment.
Given how I feel today, how little I slept last night and the bull**** I have put up with today I can safely say that a protester harassing me or picketing me out of my class will result in my arrest for assault & battery.

I do not get this at all. I come from a family that has crossed the border both legally and illegally. In 2006 people were fighting for their rights to remain here and do jobs that most folks would not and do not want to do. So they are basically calling themselves illegal aliens that want fair treatment and better benefits? Whatever d00d, the people voted on it now get your ish together and try again in 2 or 4 years again when it is time to vote on this issue agian.
I mean like come on already, you do not see half of the US or whatever saying Obama should not be President for whatever reason. Why is there all this Left Winged Extremist stirring up more trouble, it should just be over and done with already. Stop crying and move on. Call me a hater or whatever but I just think it is a big waste of money that California does not have in order to fight this in court and what not.
This is not the same as allowing blacks and coloreds into schools or public places and or being able to marry a colored person. Things do change eventually, unfortunately this is going to be one of those issues like saying Legalize Crack or some ish.
Sorry if I made anyone mad and what not, but I am really tired of all this nonsense!!!!
Rant Over

Not to mention change like that doesnt just happen. Do you think anything would have happened in the 60's if not for the march on Selma, or the Montgomery Bus Boycott? Probably not, change takes dedicated people to fight for what they believe in. That is the essence of what America was founded on.

Its not a potential constitutional violation for Obama to be president, while it is a possible consititutional violation to prohibit gay marriage. Do you get the difference?

"A little rebellion now and then is a good thing.
God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, and always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. ... And what country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to the facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure." -Thomas Jefferson
