wht matters is the network, we all know that at&t's coverage sux, but you know what?

SPRINT's is worse by far. plus, 4g is only on paper in the bay area, not implimented, so if your phone does 4g whooptie do, too bad you cant use it.

No matter what side you're on, there's fanboys on both sides. It all comes down to what you're comfortable using regardless of specs on any product.

Also, of course AT&T's 3G networks are sorta slow. Nearly 60% of the smart phone market share (*kindly* correct me if I'm wrong) is on AT&T. I'd be more excited if AT&T expanded their services to accommodate the number of customers on board rather than fancy hardware upgrades (sorta...). I do understand it's easier said than done and it'll cost way more to expand networks than it is to offer a fancy new toy for customers to upgrade to (again, correct me if I'm wrong). Hate to get all, "LOL, Japan" on you guys, but man, their networks overseas in Asia are light years ahead of the US. Then again, we're a huge *** country and it'll take a lot longer for anything to happen.

 

iphone 4 is actually pretty impressive, though Android has been implementing those features long before the iphone, Apple just knows how to execute better.
I'm definitely tempted for the iphone4, but I'll hold out and wait for the Samsung Galaxy S.

 

Instead I just had multi-tasking for the last year...dang.

And an OS which will grow with me and allow me control of my phone...shoot.

And the ability to choose hardware from different manufacturers, move my apps around, and have control over my content....horrible....

Agreed, the phone could be Superior in every which way, but if the network is not properly setup to support it, then you really aren't benefiting from all of the superior features.

Honestly, there is NEVER going to be ONE Phone that EVERYONE loves. What works well for some people might not work well for others. Just like most technology upgrades, as soon as it comes out it is already a dying or outdated technology and something better is just around the corner.

How did that old saying go "You can't make 100% of the People happy 100% of the time" or something like that?

 

^^ Agreed. I believe the Galaxy S will be much better. It's video quality and screen resolution is much better. I think this is the new hot phone to look out for and will be the iPhone's competitor within AT&T.

 

I also thought 2gb was not that much data but I have been I'm on a enterprise data plan that gets updates all day and have been streaming pandora with using no wifi and since the first of the month I have only used 14.3mb sent and 227mb received! thats with over 6 days of pandora on all day and sending over 100 work emails and being on youtbe and iclub!

you will not reach 2 gigs easy at all!

 

The Stanley's revolutionized the horseless carriage...Atari revolutionized video gaming....etc....etc.....doesn't mean they were destined to stay on top forever...

Just because they revolutionized the touch-screen phone industry doesn't give them a free pass for the future. They still have to innovate or die.

did you know that is cdma base and no longer gsm at&t lost there contract with apple and Verizon will allow the iphone on there network only cause is cdma base phone, you wont be making that many people jealous trust me.
