i thought that's only true for those are still in contract. if you are out of contract then the new rate plan would apply to u, no?
That data plan change is only for new smart phone users. If u have a unlimited data plan it will stay unlimited. And I will put $100 that u will not come close to 2gb of data se in a month. The CEO of Att does not use more then 2gb, the plans are a good thing it gives people a chance to get a smart phone for less of a monthley charge.

Not trying to be a negative nancy, but starting today, all NEW AT&T customers will no longer be able to get unlimited data plans. Which means you get your spiffy new ultra powerful phone that you can't even use unless your willing to pay $$$ for going over your allotted data, which is I think like 2 gigs, and imho 2 gigs ain't s***.

If you are on The unlimited now you will stay on the unlimited plan, even if you are not in a contract.

dude, evo 4g has all that and them some, i-phone is a copyright thieves from 2 companies. Also android is coming out with a dual core snapdragon processor @ 1.2 ghz that my friend will blow everything out of the water. Hate to pop ur bubble........ POP!

I'm using an iPhone 3G, i'm tired of how slow it has become over the last 6 months. I blame the ****ty processor. The 3Gs was a decent upgrade, and I think the new chip will make a world of difference in usability. I'm getting it because I have an upgrade discount and it will go on my family plan. I've played with the droid phones and they suck in their own ways. At the end of the day the iPhone is enough to handle my needs: phone, music, internet access.
