loving the iphone 4 so far. What sucks is there is a bug where if you restore your iphone 4 from your 3gs that was already upgraded to ios 4, the tethering and facetime menu's are disabled. I'm having to restore my phone as a new phone and not restore from my 3gs backup. Sucks but as long as I can get it to work, I'll be happy.

Robie1208 didn't have that issue from backin mine up from my previous back up.
But I'm loving the iphone4 to! First time I've waited in line for an iPhone. Wasn't to bad, but think I'll stick to pre-ordering.

I did some more googling on my issue and it seems to only affect people (i think) that jailbroke their 3gs then upgraded to iOS 4 and then restored from the most recent iOS4 backup. Thats what I had done and i restored several times tonight while at work and couldn't get it to work so the final solution was to just restore the phone as a new phone. It isn't such a big deal but it would've been nice to be able to keep my text messages and photos intact.

I know how you feel. My old phone took a spill out of my pocket on Flight Deck (I know, I'm an idiot). I hadn't backed up in three months so I lost quite a bit of stuff. Pictures that I wanted mostly. Oh well. It happens.
Interesting issue, though. I never jailbroke my phone. Don't plan on it for this one either. Anyone that is planning on jailbreaking?
