Who wants to put an H6 in their STi?

Hey all,

We're tired of letting Perrin have all the fun so we're looking for a customer to do an H6 project with. The only requirement is that your car has to be an STi (need a 6 spd. handle all that torque). This car will get a lot of publicity and we'll be spending a lot of time with it . This certainly won't be a cheap project but compared to the 20-$25,000 that some shops are charging for the swap, we think we're offering a bargain. Just think about how much a built 2.5L block with a GT35R and stand alone would run you. We're gunning for 550+ WHP on our heartbreaker dyno .

The package would include:

-Built EZ30R motor
*3.0 horizontally opposed 6 cylinder motor
*AVCS on intake cam
*Sleeved cylinder walls
*Modified crankshaft
*Custom spec forged connecting rods
*Coated race bearings
*Custom spec forged pistons

-Custom Garret GT35R Turbo Kit
*Garrett GT35R .82 A/R Turbo
*Tial 44mm wastgate
*Custom uppipe
*Custom downpipe
*Custom intake and MAF pipe

-Custom Front Mount Intercooler
-Custom exhaust piping
-Helix 660cc Injectors
-Walbro 255L Fuel Pump
-Hydra Standalone ECU
-All installation and tuning

$14,999

Please PM if you're at all interested.

Thanks,

Geoff

This "unchoosen" STi is gonna be the sickest car coming out of the bay and is gonna help put the bay on the map in some mags, shows and vids. Plus it will help a local shop, Gruppe-S, do big things! STi owners step your game up!

i dont see why not.

1. you can swap in an engine newer than what you have.
2. everything else, except the turbo is CARB legal. does the H6 have a turbo?

as long as the uppie and the downie have the proper CARB fittings and properly hooked up, you can make a good case at the time of testing.

might be the intake that kills the deal.

oh well just dreaming as my STi reaches 30k and that 3/36 warranty comes closer... lol...

Sure you guys don't want an RS with 100K+ on stock 5spd

*Cough* Mark step up to the plate *Cough*

lol

...oh yea and whoever does this for the love of god better not get sent to the state ref, talk about a nightmare!

Better run a quiet exhaust and a black intercooler.

I would love to have an H6 in my RS coupe. I think about it every time I see your posting with an H6 for sale. I was thinking more along the lines of an N/A engine with a nicely tuned exhaust to see what the H6 note is like.

Out of curiosity how much longer is the H6 block? Would it's added length upset the handling of an Impreza coupe?

Sounds like if someone wants the fastest craziest STi this is the way to it. Pretty nuts sounding. I am interested to see what happens with this. Unfortunately I don't have an STi or $14.9k for an engine kit.

Sounds awesome and good luck!
