i applied for the poilce cadet and every process is pretty damn harsh and loads of questions. i would think the real police work would be even harder.

It's like doing 28 college units, + all the police training, + all the physical stuff in just under 6 months. You have NO time for ANYTHING. Very high stress situation.

Oh, and some of you don't realize that this thread is almost 2 years old... I have found work since... I just had like 6 months between my full time job and the academy, so I needed part time work in between.
