Man, am I going to miss that guy... Tonight's cast was extremely difficult for me. I've watched KTVUs newscast for a long as I can remember (age 3 probably), and I've only done so because he was on there.

I watched the whole broadcast and the it got rather emotional at the end. One of my most admired newcaster. He'll be missed.
I wonder who's gonna replace him.

no offense to him but sometimes me and my brother thought he resembled the devil lol. maybe its cause of his red *** eyes he had during a lot of his newscasts.
QFT!!!
FYI: Frank Somerville is gonna sit in Dennis' old seat. But there is no "filling in his shoes" kinda thing for this Bay Area icon. Forty years is just insane!
I was at my folks place earlier watching the broadcast, and my Ma asked me if I knew what happened to Leslie Griffith. For some reason I thought she did the 5:00 broadcast. I just looked it up & she left a couple years ago. Dayum! Where are my awareness & recognition skills?
Anyway, back on topic...
Things won't be the same w/o Dennis "in" our living rooms.
