Though I have met Slayer in real life and they are super chill. You can drink a beer and talk bull**** with them and they will have a great time.

I haven't met Dimmu but I'm pretty sure they are NOT as chill haha - damn Nords!

Plus Dimmu is Black Metal - Slayer is all Death/Speed.
Actually to think about it.. You're right, it is a toss up..

And AoD is a badass song but my favorite has to go to Dead Skin Mask.

(I can't find a decent youtube link for it)

The beginning is just...horrifyingly brilliant. And the premise makes me giggle =)

Yeah...in December Metallica is coming back and I wanted to get seats so bad but....they only had standing room.

Guess I'll just have to deal with being 15 feet from James, Kirk, Robert, and Lars..OH WELL.

I just hope Lamb of God comes back =D

Oh and what would a metal thread be without the Masters of Thrash themselves?

I saw this thread and thought it was another Dragonball Z AMV. I was partially right. It was Dragonball GT.

wow... all that heavy metal sounds like stuff that i listened to when i was 13. oh wait. even the stuff i listened to when i was 13 was more hardcore and brutal than any of this.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkjLSzb2yFo
Godflesh - Pure

now THAT is my kind of song. the entire message and meaning in 5 words. no fluff, no crap. just simple and to the point. and no wussy-*** jamming a billion cords a second or feminine singing.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bRVNvztrlR8
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLe3P0xYd50

this is the kind of stuff that i listen to now. far more haunting, primal and powerful.

so, back to the AMVs... an oldie but goody.

Neon Genesis Evangelion - Engel (good timing! and none of its in english!)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SYbmzRM7EcE
Berserk - The Fight Song (quite simply, the BEST anime IMO)
