Not sure if anyone wants them treated or not, just wanted to point out the differences of what is currently being sold by vendors as RA Gearsets and what is on the FXT.

is the non RA gear set just as strong as the RA ones? because im thinking about getting the non ra ones because i dont like the fact 5gear ratio is so low (4000rpm 85mph)...

I sort of agree with you - I think I'd like RA 1-4 and stock 5th....sigh.

Actually - I want to check out the set up next time I'm in...going over the RPM plot with a 3.9 final drive on the RA it looks like 80 is @ 3500 which is liveable.

With the stock WRX though, 80 is @ 3125 - and it makes it a really long reach between 4th and 5th.

I can probably live with the RA set, it's not so bad...with the 4.44 final drive though, that's a different matter RA 80 mph=4000 rpm - which is very high since it's well past my boost peak. On the stock 5th is 3500 rpm for 80 mph

how about my Ver. 6 Type RA setup w/4.44 final. Heres a pic of my cluster at 67mph...3550RPM. Yeah convert the KMH to MPH. Its short gearing but these boxes and rear diffs are available for around $3000 and it gives you a good reason to upgrade to an R180 and brembos...I love it.

Dev aint a baller, you are the baller.

I heard you drive a BMW as your DAILY driver.

I also heard your parents have 2 mercedes.

I also heard your brother has a pretty new G35 coupe.
