I'd say its hard but with that dusting of snow on top, which isn't bad to me. I rode at Boreal back in October on their 100% man made and it was actually really good snow. Couldn't even tell it was fake. Then again, they only had one strip of snow open so it was anything intense.
boreal is looking like a good option..

not the best, as in not a lot of snow, they only had 3 maybe 4 runs open..wasnt much ice till later in the evening, 3-4ish..but I had fun.

I think these current conditions are a true test of how much fun can you make out of what you have. If you ride solo, I can see it getting old quick. But if you have some family or friends to ride with, there's still a lot of fun to be had.

went to boreal last wednesday, Not bad for man made snow. Can't even tell it was fake.

Any actual trails rideable or is it all park last wednesday? I know Boreal isn't a typical trail mountain.

If you ride park, go to Boreal. If you like trail riding/freeriding, Northstar probably has the most open right now. I did 8 days so far (thanks to season pass) and each time they are opening up more terrain. Also looks like it's going to snow a little on Thursday or Friday.
