^^ya its hard to really compare. my post was more to share another amazing artist.

i saw the band MIRV one time and les came out on stage and played this one string bass that you tighten the string on with this lever to change the notes it was awesome.

Its called the Wamolla. A fan made it for him a few years ago. Its a pretty sick instrument, kind of an electric version of the redneck wash tub broom handle and string thing haha.

Les has said many times before that Geddy Lee is one of his biggest insporations. His main 4 string is signed by Lee on the head stock.
