Thanks and Karma points....IPOZESTU
It's easy to go through life just doing your own thing and taking care of your own stuff. God knows we all have enough of our own.
But it seems like every now and again you come across people that will be there for you and stand up and come forward when you ask for help. It's easy to find people that SAY they'll do it. Finding people that actually DO it are not so easy.
Time and time again Jeff has been there for me and I just wanted to say thanks in a public domain so all you folks will maybe stop and think about dropping a call to that person that is there for you or possible actually get up and be there for someone else.
This weekend jeff spent a good 7 hours smashing hands on my wife's VW. I could not have done it alone... I honestly don't think anyone can. What a friggin mess. Even though it was frustrating as all hell and it wasn't his car he stuck it out and helped me get it back together. And I think it's actually fixed. I think... haaa
I can't explain the look on my wife's face his morning. She is so happy to have her car back. I don't think I could ever repay Jeff for the amount of help he's shown me over the years and top it off with a happy wife.
Then toss in a perfect install on my jdm rain guards...
I hate asking him to help me with anything at this point.
I just hope with this new legacy that all this good karma finally comes back to him and he doesn't have to deal with even 2% of what he delt with last time.
Good luck Jeff. And thank you more than I could ever explain.
plus... sick of reading all this rediculous drama on the boards...

I'm all choked up. This was a weekend of good things. If fixed the Vdub, installed the the rain gaurds. Sunday my other buddy called me up and asked if I'd help him install his cabinets, flooring, and do some electrical work. I got that done too. I just can't seem to find the time to do anything around my own house. The Porsche is begging for some TLC. The EJ22T is screaming at me. Back yard is a mess. Master bath needs to be torn out and re-tiled. The electrical service at my house needs to be upgraded, kitchen needs an enema. Can you say full plate?
Ray, it's no problem. I'm glad I could help. I know if I needed a hand you'd help me out.

Backs fine. I think Megan was right, I'm getting sick. I need to get over it quick before Mexico.
In regards to the tile, Paulo is paid already. He just needs to finish.

bump for someone i already new was a really good guy!
its always great to hear these stories tho. i know i love helping people out of the kindness of my heart as much as i can. I havent done it as much lately because people start taking it for granted and when you need a favor theyre no where to be found.
if more people in the world did things for people with a good heart the world would be a much better place!
