Who Else Picked up "Return of the King" Today?
It's 05/25/04 and The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King just came out on DVD today. I was in line @ the local Ciruit City at 10:02 on my lunch break in San Rafael standing with at least 10 other guys. Mostly from I.L.M. who is just across the parking lot. They had 3 reg'es open and they all selling the film.
But although i'm so happy to have it. I can't wait till the "directors edition" comes out.

I do have the other two "Special Editions" 4 disc sets. And will buy The last one too. But i need all the versions of the film.
Example: In the "Two Towers" When the Uruk-hai are traveling with Mary and Pippin and stop to complain about having no food to eat. Then a fight breaks out and one gets his head lobbed off.... Well if you watch them back to back. they are shot completely different. (and i'm not just being stupid. I know 'every' added sceen) Plus the Theatrical Version DVD release has different specials on it.

Great movies. Finally saw the 3rd one last night.
Repeat watch value = zero. Especially since the third one is so painfully boring when there isn't an epic battle going on.
