Whining noise from rear diff when taking turns under 15mph

I know when turning at a full lock at a slow speed the car jumps a little. But when the wheel is half way when I turn going 10-15mph the rear diff makes a bit of a whining noise.

Is this normal? I've had the car for about 2 months and this is the first time I've heard it do this.

No I haven't. The car has 6,500 miles on it right now.
