Where to go for an oilchange
Try AutoHQ, they're usually busy, but give them a call and see if you can get a good price. Might want to invest in your own oil and filter n' pay 'em $20 for a quick 15 minute change. Don't forget to change the crush washer. Usually that's like 99% of the oil leaks =P. Go to Kragen's or some other autoshop and pick up some oil, crush washer. I go to GST Motorsports for the filter or AutoHQ has Subaru OEM filters (which I believe are best) and just pay for that and labor.

If you're on a bind and you've got no driveway space to do your own work, I'd say go to AutoHQ if you want to stay within the Peninsula. Kevin or one of his capable mechanics should be able to take care of you. I personally don't even have a driveway space to do my own work, so I have to sneak in whenever someone leaves for a couple hours in my house hold just to perform an oil change. I'm probably one of the least mechanically inclined around here and I can do one myself. LOL
It's QQ thankyouverymuch

Dealership?
I think "dealership maintained with all receipts and paperwork" sounds good when I am trying to sell a car.
Otherwise I would just go down the street from my house and get it at Los Gatos Autocare. They hook me up.

I used to do all the work on my car myself. I actually prefer to do maintenance myself, I do things slow and I also make sure it's done right.
Now that I don't have a garage spot and land lord is not cool w/ me doing in the garage stall.
I think I found a place to go to. AutoHQ seems good for bigger jobs but a little pricey for routine oil changes since they use synthetic. I don't want to have to deal with buying my own oil, filter and crush washer. I'll probably check them out for a 90k tune-up.

i dunno about u..but i can fit under the car slighty without jacking it up...
if you can find a nice spot somewhere, may be worth the time to get some oil and do it urself.
but if not..AHQ, GST, all good joints..
