...while I'm sure there are a few who'd like to tell me where to go (lol), I'd like some input on where to take a friend coming from Australia. He landed last night, and we're going to cruise around, go to a restaurant, etc. Where would you take him??

Need to know by about 4:30/5:00 or so.

There is Nola's which is a cool New Orleans style resteraunt right across from the Blue Chalk right off of University.

I can give you some awesome roads to drive all the way from livermore to watsonville.

Take him through SF over the golden gate, maybe down hwy 1 through half moon bay right down to santa cruz.
Also further south is beautiful too, like below monteray along 1, 17 mile drive?

not being facetious, but why dont you take him into SF like all tourists. theres a lotta stuff to check out and if worse comes to worst, just drink somewhere intersting, which is every bar in the city

 

take him to Vegas San Diego and sf stop being a tool if hes single let him have a bash!
