just got a cf trunk and it could use a new clear coat. Wondering if anyone noes a place thats local or somewhat local to San Leandro area.

He said he waxed it and it left some residue? Iono if its the clear coat or not. Ill double check in the morning.

 

Alright ******* I bought it from lied. Its the clear coated pealing off. So its going to need a new coat of clear. I shouldn't of taken his word for it, (wasn't enough lighting for me to notice it was clear coat pealing)

 

Never buy a car (or parts) at night or in the rain. That's what my pops always told me, and now I see why. Sorry man, that sucks. Now's your chance to paint it to match I guess.

do you need it re-cleared or re-glazed? usually cf have a glaze on the top not clear coat, but your might have clear. It depends on the manufacture
