I know you're trying to help but please don't recommend the Firestone lifetime deal....it's a pile of crap. They will only align to factory specs unless you are very lucky to get a cool technician, and several i-clubbers have had a lousy experience:

The tech was so busy being pissed off and in a ****ty mood that he didn't ask anything. I told them specifically what I wanted.

I got back the worst specs I have EVER gotten from an alignment company.

Talking -.9 on one side in the front and +.6 on the other. The rear is much the same. I'm showing yellow and red on every setting.

The dude basically rushed through it. Made sure it hit within manufacturer specs and dropped it off the lift as soon as I walked back inside to talk to albert about wtf was going on.

It was pushing 6:45.. they close at 6. Tech was pissed and being lazy and my car has a ****ty alignment because of this. I then read through the specs this morning and read that they used the non wrx imprezza wagon specs as a starting point.

So now I'm gonna have to pray to god that I can talk a local Firestone in to doing my alignment as I want it or face the fact that I spent $211 on a ****ty alignment and a tire mount that I'm going to have to look over tonight to make sure they did correctly. Tires were worn slightly different so I wanted the 2 newer ones in the front.

needless to say my experience with firestone and the one in fremont leads me to tell folks...

Go to AI or Roger Kraus as its obvious most folks just don't give a **** about your car.

little pissed.

Stick with someone like Orlando at Auto Innovations:
1337 Minnis Cir
Milpitas, CA 95035
(408) 956-8004

Because they are experts and have a ton of experience with subarus. You'll be happy you went there, I drive 90 miles round trip because I know I can trust them.

Hope this helps.

Just google whats in your area (not sure where you're at in 'norcal') and call them. Ask if they are willing to align the car to your specs and provide a printout. If they say no and are not willing to do your requested specs or provide a printout, find someplace that will. AI is good but no need to travel hours away if its not close...I know some Big-O places will do it.

For settings on an 06 STi - Negative front camber is good (-1.0 to -1.5), keep it even left and right. Make sure the toe is zero on all four corners. Rear negative camber isnt adjustable unless you buy camber bolts so you can just leave it. And lastly, dont worry about castor, I dont think thats adjustable.

stock or not, neg camber cant hurt at all. positive sucks especially when you can feel your tire folding over (that is if you ever had a stock car with a 60 profile tire on positive camber)
