w00t! Well there is some snow right now, Im heading up to Northstar for the day I will report back the conditions.

 

Today was fun, lightly snowed all day. There was a bit of fresh powder to ride although the base is still small. Heres to hoping for a good season...

 

ahh nice. I would've done a day trip tp northstar today but all my riding buddys were working. do you think that snow will hold up till next weekend? i've got a cabin rented for the weekend with some old co-workers but it doesnt look like it will be snowing anytime soon =\

 

its suppose to snow next sunday and monday, but it will probably snow earlier.

 

If it keeps snowing this week, Id say go for it. Also, check the Northstar live cam too.

I want to go to Boreal Fri the 14th for the $15 day, i'll let you know if i go. I would rather go to other resorts, but since the only good parts of the mtn that are good are gonna be the parks for the next week or 3 so why not.

Nice, good thread. I'm going to head up to Tahoe, well truckee, for winter break with 10 other of my buddies. We have a cabin rented already and looks like we'll hit up boreal on friday for their cheap discount. Can't wait.
