Try...

under the passenger side floorboard in the foot well. Under the carpet, there is a nice metal plate that you have to remove, then there is the ECU. How to tell if it's been reflashed? You're on your own to find that out.

Hope this helps.

Under the front passenger's feet.

There's no way to know about a reflash unless the people who did it marked (left a sticker on the unit or somthing) the ECU.

EDIT: oh well, someone beat me to it

Basically if someone has taken out the ECU, the carpet must be loose and the metal plate can be moved correct?

If someone actually took out the ECU, maybe... but reflashes can be done via the diagnostic port under the steering wheel without ever touching the actual ECU.

the next tuner that plugs in their software can tell if it has been reflashed.
you can have the initial flash done anywhere and from that point on you have a license for it (that you paid) so reflashes are are charged according to how much any dealer (ECUTEC) charges for tuning/reflashes. You should not pay full price.

cheers

idle is unnafected. Boost is usually higher plus when it comes on is different than stock.

For more info you may want to post/search on the ECUTEC forums.
