As far as cheapest? Stromung has tight controls over the pricing so we aren't allowed to discount or vary too much from the standard pricing.

 

Flash N Dash Performance is an i-Club vendor. He has an ongoing thread in the Vendor For Sale forum selling Strömung exhausts. I ordered my 3" dual-tip catback from Brian (Flash N Dash). I used the forum Search feature with keyword 'stromung'.

The Strömung catback is louder than the Borla Hush but looks very much like stock, IMO. The dual tips are not slash cut plain tubing like on some other mufflers. Borla is better at not attracting attention from the ticket writers and also has a nice warranty.

I would also use Kartboy exhaust hangers to restrict unwanted movement with a 3" catback.

Strömung also has a 3" divorced wastegate downpipe for a reasonable price. I also like the Crucial Racing downpipe.

He has not responded in that thread, or to anyones email. Do you perhaps have information on his where abouts?

 

My stromung came from him via TheBankMan. He has had the best customer service in the past, but he seems to have dissapeared from the face of the earth. Or at least i-club.
I am really scared something happened to him.
Alex said he had not received his vendor fees this month from him either, he has not posted in over a month, but he was last seen signed on last night. hmmm dunno.

I hope he is ok.

 

There was a recent thread on NASIOC (gasp! The iclub verboten word!) in which SCS and Ferdie made some pretty poor judgements in customer service....food for thought.

i bought from flash n dash about a year ago and had excellent customer service... search google for their website and call Brian directly if he's not responding on here. he seemed like a stand up guy and went the extra mile to get me exactly what i wanted and when i wanted it.

 

www.boxer4racing sells them as well...i got mine used from a friend so it was UBER cheap

i got stromung catback (one of the original non-stainless) kartboy hangers, borla 4th gen headers for $140 haha deal of a fakin life time!

 

im still unsure of the sound level?

what exhaust does the stromung compare to? how loud is it? i'm assuming the 3in piping is louder then the 2in piping...

i've unfortunately never heard it that well.
