Anybody follow this show on Velocity HD?
Last Sundays episode, they bought a silver bugeye and did some mods to it. It was looking fine until they added the stripes at the end. Nevertheless, good episode to view.

I found it kind of funny that the things that needed fixing on their car are the exact things that need fixing (again) on mine, clutch and front rotors- I still won't be doing a big brake set-up just because I have too many stock wheels, and at least I already have had my exhaust upgraded a couple of years ago.
Now if I could just find a shop with labor rates like Ed China...(ever notice how Ed's time doesn't factor in on their "profit margin"?)

haha just watched this episode too. I like the show in that you actually see the guy working on the car. And he describes what he is doing pretty well. Seems more real. The guy selling the cars can get a little annoying at times though

Yeah, definitely appealing when Ed describes in detail. It keeps you interested in the show. I've watched the show for a few years now and don't really care what cars they buy and sell. It's just a good show to watch, IMO.
I really like this show, been watching for years. At first was a little bummed they weren't working on Subarus, but watching Ed work and describe everything in detail is enough to keep me interested.
The thing that surprised me about this episode is that they usually keep true to the type of car and don't go too far off with modifications.. but racing stripes on a WRX? With their signatures on the stripes? Way off, guys.

Love the show. Particularly this past season where they bring in cars from the US. Ed China knows his ish. My favorite car that they've featured is the Austin-Healey "frogeye" Sprite
