Question Whats your favorite street brake pad?

I'm considering buying a second set of street pads right now. What are your guys' favorites? I've been using Cobb steet pads for about 1 year 8 months with 50% pad left right now. I've been pleased with how they perform hot, cold, wet... they have good initial bite and don't dust too horribly and I feel they have pretty good stopping power. Should I buy another set of these or try something else?

Btw: this is using stock calipers

why fix something that isn't broke. stick with what's been working for you. i had ebc greenstuff and stock rotors on my 98 accord and they sucked as hell. braking didn't impove and they gave out dust as hell. from what i was told you had to use the green stuff with their rotors to notice a difference

Yea, I'd like to get another set of the Cobb pads... but its like $200 for front / rear. But I could get a set of Hawk HPS for like $140 front / rear. I just wanna know how some of the other pads out there compare to the Cobb street pads.

Very true. My chrome lips are almost never blingin.... they are always covered up with brake dust. The front is horrible, back is bearable.

The pads do work great though and are cheap.

If the pads from my old Legacy front brakes will fit in yours, you can have the KVR's I just took out. KVR freaking rocks!!!!! carbon weave/kevlar. No dust. Grip more and more and more the hotter they get. Incredibly nice on rotors.

If Legacy ones wont fit... www.kvrperformance.com ~ $85 for RS and $105 for WRX

thanks for the input guys. i ask because my rotors are warped, and my pads are probably dwindling away as well. so i just want to pick up a decent set of rotors that hopefull will fade less and better pads as well

KVR's seem like they are a good deal. About $133 for front & rear, I checked and WRX & RS pads are the same price, but they're the same size so thats why.

yes, very true. after a few days my front stockers (silver) become gunmetal. Good for the money if you don't mind the dusting.
