paint done at the factory is baked before the car drives off the factory. Start waxing right away. If you repaint a car then you may have to wait for the paint/clear coat to cure.

Cheers

most paint shops use a baking oven as well....not just the factory. But both of you are correct...you can wax, polish, detail...whatever you want to do to a new car off the lot. Infact they usually wash and sometimes wax it for you when you pick it up.

A freshly painted car is usually color sanded, buffed, and waxed/sealed when you have repains from the body shop. So, you could do the same later when you take it home. Some shops may say to wait for 30 days...becuase yes...the pain needs to fully cure...but it's not going to ruin the paint, as it's cured to the toutch already. I would wait 30 days IF I were one who goes to the carwash....HAND WASH AND WAX ARE ALWAYS THE BEST FOR YOUR PAINT.

klasse AIO and Kasse SG x3 on the wheels. Regular wax will not last long in the heat and brake dust. Still every 2 months you must take the wheels off and re-wax. By the way when yo seal your wheels use only mild soap (car washing soap) or you will take the wax right off.

cheers
