What's fair for a BRZ?
I'm interested in a MT Limited...Seems like dealers still have a markup on these things, but i'm wondering what people are really paying for the thing.
I'm thinking no more than 30k otd is fair. But from talking to a couple dealers via email, it sounds impossible.
anyone have info or advice on this?

Go into a dealer that has one and say you'll buy it right now for msrp. If they don't budge say "Fine ill go buy the frs down the street". Someone will sell it to you eventually.
Family member got a brz from Albany for MSRP.
Word on the street is Heuberger motors in CO springs will sell you a limited shipped for 27 non enclosed so the car can come dirty depending on the weather. Lot of people have done it in socal.

Or order one of the Limited edition FR-S.. Have most all the bells and whistles the limited Brz has. And the pricing is fixed for scion. I think the price was announced to be mid $27k for them. But hope you want Silver cause that's the only color they're coming in.
No, paid MSRP before tax / license for a limited.
Doing the shipping thing from CO gets you the car for 27, a good bit under msrp.
Anywhoo BRZ main + are hid's, heated seats n mirrors. The series 10 light up fast and furious emblems just made me laugh.

Car Info: 94 Integra beater: one Slow 3 Series RIP EvoX
call into the dealership on separate occasions and talk to a different sales guy
THEN go into the dealer ship and say youre ready to buy
BUT say you only want to buy at the MSRP WITHOUT markup TODAY
see them all fight over your business
worked for me when i got my EVO X in 2009

I'll try that, pikka thanks! lol, i always saw markups as dealers just wanting to get msrp for a car and finding suckers if they can. ::shrugs:: ohhh the world of money, can't say it's not unsavory.

There isn't a limited FRS, just a base model.
Hard not to pay msrp for a limited here in the bay area, there just aren't enough of the cars available yet. Subaru is to blame for this. The **** us with half the amm of FR-S, then don't even have the respect to keep their dealers in line.
I would inform them of the deal you can get from HEUBERGER motors 27 shipped for a limited. They are the largest volume dealer there is, the finance manager at whatever dealer you go to will likely have heard of them and it really is some what of a bargaining chip. Even ****ty little Albany knew of them.
Invoice is ~26.3 so I figure if you land in between that and MSRP you are getting a great deal in CA.
Tax is not going to change here in CA, so i'd be more concerned with the cost of the car, not OTD. It's good to calculate and know your budget but thats it. Point being you don't want to give the dealer an opportunity avoid the direct price of the car or play games.
If you want the warranty to 77k people on the forum say they are paying 1,250, my family member payed almost 1600 :/
FINAL STEP BUY BRZ & - Contact KRINKOV for a clearbra. It's crazy on the DGM you can't even see it from most angles standing right there in front of the car.
