lol reminds me of the first week i owned my STi. dealer plates and everything. Ricer *** integ with fart can and tow hook thinks he's boss and blows by, slows down and blows by to hit traffic and me cruise by.

i love the honda hate for subaru. what's sad is a lot of honda/acura guys convert to subaru (ie: me).

I had something similar with a TC. Mad mugging me at a light, deep staging and ****. It was late, nobody around, so what the hell. I burned them hard. Next light, same thing so there was no need to bother again, but I am already at speed. Come over the overpass on Montague and find a cop sitting there. Big fat ticket. F* the ricers. It is pretty much given that they can't win, so don't bother.
.. I dunno - ricer isn't so much about equipment as it is about attitude.. I've encountered some pretty quick "rice" cars in my time.. I even knew a guy with a 10 second hatch that pretty much fits the description you posted above.. And it is a given now that Scoobs are cheap enough to fall into the wrong hands / have become rice..

So its really less about equipment - more about attitude.. - and for the above story.. You may have been trolled..... Think about it next time..

I have owned quick Hondas myself. I am one of those converts Trolled or not, the story is there

I know what rice is. I have been doing this longer than most of them have had licenses. It is usually easy to spot a decently setup sleeper vs a ghetto POS, because 9 out of 10 are those that I come across are POSs.

on my street theres a guy rolling around in a kia. huge wing, fartcan hanging off, front mount intake. theres alos a NT 300zx with LOUD exhaust.

I was waiting at a left-turn light the other day and some dude in a base Sentra with one of the worst sounding exhausts was making a left towards me (coming from my right to the opposite direction of my travel). He was spinning one wheel and staring at me the entire time. Almost hit the curb. Ok... good for you, dude.

It happens. I just laugh 'em off.

Oh! There is a lady that lives by me... older lady. Drives an older Jetta. Total ghetto exhaust. It's really a sight to see. Speed demon, too.

Ah yes....Vallejo, Fairfield, and Vacaville.....a nice mix of ricer and/or ghetto hondas and mustangs in that area.

When I had my '07 4dr Si and '08 STi, I always made a point to drive at the speed limit while on I-80. On the streets, I NEVER go past 25mph. I don't give a f*** if the speed limit is 35 when there's ALWAYS a cop car following me around, wondering if I'll be another douche in their town.

Thankfully my 10yr old Audi doesn't attact any attention......well, except for towns like Placerville where a snowboard rack = pull-over and give ticket.

I think I threw up a little bit in my mouth... At lunch a Vietnamese chick, older, scrawny, gets into her car and proceeds to have to make backing out of a parking spot a 3 point turn event. The horrific thing was that she was driving a Cayman S

i went to safeway to grab a sandiwich(got me a free coupon) and on my way home to chicks in a newer maxima were trying to get my attention, slowing down and speeding up. at one point they were holding up traffic trying to make a gap to do a fly by. i shrugged it off and moved over infront of them so people could get by.

at the stop light to turn right there were 5 cars,3 in front of me and 2 behind me(the chicks were last)
we were all turning right but at this light its a NO turn on red. the drove up onto the sidewalk(2 tires on,2 tires off) and passed everyone. the car in the front saw them coming and blocked them in. the chicks proceeded to honk and threw a soda at the car(mini van)

i couldnt make this stuff up if i tried. there are some really stupid people out there. my problem is i call them on it. thats were the issues arise.

A lifted diesel was trying to do pulls on me and tried to get me to race him. The dumbass was doing this right by a cop to. Surprised he didn't get pulled.

I just continued cruising like I always do.

I got one guy who looked to be in his 50s in the grocery store parking lot ask about my car, then ask if I wanted to drag race him.

This is in the grocery store parking lot as I'm pulling my 2 year old daughter out of her car seat so I can buy groceries... Yeah, let me strap her back in so we can drive 100 miles an hour in a residential neighborhood... there's a good idea.

I've only had maybe 3 people like this in 10 years of owning a WRX. Maybe I just don't notice them?

"Uh - nothing? - driving home?"

His response included a racing ticket.. Nevermind a civic with massive batwing flew away from me in a massive cloud of smoke - and I was in a mid 400 whp AWD DSM - definitely racing..

I took it to court. After stating my case, the Judge said - AND I QUOTE

"You were driving a Mitsubishi Eclipse - Of course you were racing, but this was your first offence so I will knock it down from a misdemeanor to an infraction and only fine you $500" - Lodi Superior Court.. Small town BS.

10 years on my record.. Finally fell off..

Moral of the story - eff ricers..

Wow, I would have been so pissed off....

Me too, I've had only two occasions. Once a punk in a bugeye with his fat friends, and another was an srt4, typical.

I used to like when the police would ask me to drag race. This actually happened quite a bit in my '67 Mustang. Usually went something like this...

: pulluptoredlightnexttocop:
"Hey..."
"Uh, yes?"
"That thing fast?"
"I suppose you could say that."
"Let's race from the light!"
"Are you crazy? You're just gonna pull me over. No way."
"That would be entrapment. Don't be a wuss, let's do this."
"Ummm... uhhh... well... uhhh... hmmm... ok."
:dragrace:

Sometimes they'd just pull me over to check out the car. Sometimes they'd get me to do burnouts. Come to think of it we had some pretty cool cops in Costa Mesa/Santa Ana.

I've only had two people rev on me. One time, it was on 880N around Fremont, some kids in a red Integra. Then once when a dude in a Prelude was revving at me on 880N by the Oakland Coliseum......in rush hour traffic and I had my mom in the car. I just looked at him like, "WTF are you doing?" Then he felt stupid and left me alone.
