Meh, I don't know if you could get anything out of taking him to court.. because for all they know, you could have messed the car up yourself and just trying to blame it on him. I think taking him to court would be a waste of money. You're royally ****ed... I don't want to be negative or anything.. but ouch. What have you had done that cost 3 big ones?

 

how was it modded this much and it was an 07?! i guess it could be a year old, but someone who does that kinda modding only to sell the car and bothers to part it out to make more money is just crazy or was rich when he bought the car, and poor in the end. Maybe he lost a job?

he could just say.. it ran fine, then he took possession i don't know what the hell he did to it to break it.

i think it would be hard to prove in court.. but if you have a lawyer who will work for free go for it

IMHO next time get the car up on a lift and have a sube mechanic you trust look at the car for you
