What will you do to beat the heat

I'll be at Raging Waters until 1pm. Then I'm going to see Transformers and maybe sneak in to see something else.

Tips on staying cool:
-Slow your pace
-Stay indoors
-Close windows, window blinds and curtains
-Drink a lot of water
-Wear white, stay away from dark colors
-Eat less
-Rest

I don't know about this one. I've been testing this theory this year. For the last 3 summer at my current condo I ALWAYS leave my windows closed until I get home. And my place ALWAYS get super hot. This year, I ALWAYS leave my windows open (Good to be on top floor, no need to worry about break-in through windows) and it has yet to get as hot as the previous years, even yesterday. I haven't have to turn on AC yet, just the fan a few time to help draft the outside cool air in from the shaded end of the house and out the other. Even that, just running it for ~30 minutes is good enough.
