or we can see it as the fact that the subaru (wrx) attracts a certain type of individual...

"INTJs are perfectionists" -- we're ****-retentive enough at times.

"Typical INTJ career choices are in the sciences and engineering" -- we have enough geeks on this forum.

"...many also find it useful to learn to simulate some degree of surface conformism in order to mask their inherent unconventionality." -- explains why we like the oddity known as the Impreza.

I'll come out of lurkdom to chime in on this one...

INTJ: 89 22 44 1

I've taken this test bunches of times over time at various stages of life (single, married w/o children, now a parent), and it's interesting how the result stays INTJ.

Does this imply that you truly are what you are? And that external influences have very little to do with your personality?

I'm still really struck by how many INTJ's there are here, too.

Back down to lurkdom...

the only problem with this test is that if you're close to 50% on all four letters, you're basically nothing.

big waste of time IMO, and for companies of any size whatsoever to be basing hiring decisions on this "test" is scary.

I took a test like this back in 8th grade (like what, 9-10 years ago now?) But it was a rather different format, and a bit smaller, but I got the same "leader" type personality result, with only like 3 or 4 other people with me out of 100, so I would say the numbers of this personality type are in reality limited.

And yes, it does describe me well. But the fact im not in the sciences technically doesnt mean my interests dont deal with them And thats probably why alot of INTJ's are here, lots of Engineering and IT's on this board

However the lack of empathy comments about INTJ's I tend to not correspond with...

Took it a while ago for work, got INTJ. Just took it now, got ENFJ.

The one I took for work was way more involved then this test, but it is interesting to see how the test thinks I've changed in 3 years.
