The only good NSX is a JGTC NSX, with a longitudinally-mounted motor.
OTW, an NSX would never even come to mind when compared with the House of Ferrari.
Just my '02, the JDM cars that I lust for are ultra-modified Skylines Imprezas, and EVOs.

Cliff notes: bunch of kids going home from the races. Car full of guys gets in front of a car with two girls and speeds up instead of letting them pass. Finally, he lets them go by, and the girls speed into a curve, lose control, crash and die. The drivers of the other cars are being held responsible for their deaths.
The appropriate place to be when racing someone of questionable skill is out of the race.

Close enough to give pause...
There are important differences, of course: Mr R. and I didn't know or meet each other, and we were never in a race. (At least I wasn't.) He caught me up quick and I sped up at first trying to accomidate him (not "loose" him).
I should probably have pulled over, but the truth is that I didn't have very long to think about it; by the time we were coming to the end of the straight, there was no-where to get over.
Anyway, interesting article.

While many guys may knock on it, the NSX Type R (the last J-spec version) cuts 200 pounds to make the car around 2800 pounds and the engine is blueprinted. The NSX Type R has been shown to lap Top Gear's track in the wet almost as fast as a Gallardo in the dry.

) if you cant handle your place in line, then drop back. thats your responsibility not anyone elses.i say, smoke him and enjoy it.
PS: on the topic of NSX's, my physics professor just bought a 92 with a bunch of race mods (350+ hp) and im a little worried about him. he wouldnt have done something like that (hes like 70 years old) but just dont go looking for trouble with them, because i like 'ole dave.

One of these days, I'm gonna see your post in time.
I'm looking forward to it.

The NSX is so tight. Even though it looks and performs like a Ferrari, it drives like a Honda and sure it is overpriced, but that's my only complaint.
Isn't that worth something? It is to me, because I don't think I'll be a nose-jobbed Botox injected Beverly Hills baller anytime soon.

Yes it's expensive, but someone's gotta pay for perfection. A supercar that you can daily drive, shoot your mom could daily drive it. Yet it's wicked fast on the track.

Also, I'm still running on the wheel on the left:
I am on a stock suspension w/ some Azenis and I am going out with a Miata with some springs and Azenis. We will be running mostly tight backroads tonight. Check your PM's.

Hey Ubercaff,
It was a pleasure to meet you and Nate last night, and a pleasure as well to (try to) keep up with you. We'll definitely have to do it again...
After I get an allignment!

(I think the highlight for me was Mill Rd.-- short as it was.)
