If your local your best bet would be to give the guys down at Vishnu a call and see what they'll do for you.

You won't see a low 12 second pass on a vf30/34 unless you are using nitrous. Looking more along the lines of a mid 12 second pass on race gas and high 12's on pump gas.

You can run traps of 110-112 with VF30/34 on race gas quite easily. Just takes a custom tune, a cat-less exhaust, injectors and a fuel pump. Depending on track and driving, it could be good for low to mid 12s ET. We've run 50-trim T3/T4s on EJ20s before (our old Stg 3 kit) and while they do make power, they do induce 500-1000rpm more lag than the VF30/34. We currently run GT30s on our EVOs and they see full boost by 4000rpm. On a WRX, it'll hit full boost around 4500rpm which may or may not be responsive enough for most drivers.

The total cost would be the price of the turbo, injectors, pump and about $600 for installation labor. Dyno tuning would be $200 plus the price of the engine managment solution that you want to go with. If you are interested in having multiple maps (pump gas and race gas, for instance), you will want an XEDE for $895. The reflash, if you choose to get that, would be $650.

Go with the third cat eliminator or high-flow catalytic converter, full exhaust, ecu reflash, and high-flow air filter. You'll get at least 40hp more at the wheels and keep your warranty, but be warned other parts on the car will start to break if you make that much or more power, i.e. clutch, transmission, axles, brakes won't be powerful enough for your newly found thrust. Enjoy

I would go with the vf34 setup and the dual map option as Shiv mentioned above (Xede or EcuTek) as it's nice to have the ability to make use of gas other than the water we pump and for a daily driven street WRX the vf34 certainly fits the bill as a mid 12's capable unit in the right hands.

You can get the VF34 kit from http://www.gruppe-s.com/index.htm

They can tune it with EcuTek as well.
