Ok heres my situation. I currently have $1000 to spend on my car. I also have a VF34 sitting around my house, but I dont have a fuel pump or injectors. And my car doesn't have a Up or downpipe yet. Since now I'm starting to drive my car harder I would enjoy a better suspension setup, such as koni yellows with ground controls or maybe the megan street coiloiver set. Basically my question is should I blow it all on trying to get the VF-34 in or on a better suspension? I'm leaning more towards suspension, but what do you guys think?

HPDE (high performance driving education) FTW. You'll be amazed by what you learn. You get to push your car hard in a safe environment and learn its limits and your limits (in the begining, the cars limits will pass your limits as you enter a turn knowing how fast the car can take it, but for some reason your foot presses that damned brake pedal

Koni Yellows and Ground Controls are almost exactly $1000. Also, remember if you get Konis you need down time to hack open your struts. I'd say get an AP and an UP. Not only will this follow your modifying line but it plans out the future of your car.
Instead of coilovers you could get a cheaper spring/strut combo.
If I were you I would buy some tires and springs (maybe struts, depending on how many miles you have on the stockers) then save for vf34 supporting mods.

sell the vf34.
Get yourself some sway bars. endlinks. wheels and tires. if you still have money finish up your exhaust.
then when you save up another $2000 or so do a turbo upgrade all at the same time. Turbo. Injectors. Fuel pump and some kind of tuning.
I think it would be a bad investment to get the turbo/support mods and not get tuned right now.
If you've got $150 or so left over do an instructed track day.

I already have a decent set of wheel on my02 and a CBE. Im still leaning towards my original plans.
My original plans were:
1.Suspension and brake lines
2.up and downpipe
3.VF-34
4.Cobb Ap
but ever since i have the turbo sitting around I been contemplating if i should put it in. Or do my original plans sound good?
Cause I can by my suspension and it would probley take about a month and a half to have enough for Up and Downpipe and sti pinks and fuelpump. Then another month to have enough for an AP.

you need at least 1500 (if you bought new parts) to do the turbo upgrade from where you are:
(say 500 for an cheap DP/UP and installing them)
(say 400 for injectors and pump and installing them)
(say 600 for AP... not even a tune, just a base map!)
Not to mention details like: Do you have the restrictor pill? Are you going to run EBC or MBC instead of the stock solenoid? Will there be a vacuum leak somewhere that's a biotch to chase down? Will stuff fit, etc. etc.
Basically with 1000 you can do all your suspension and the parts are modular. With power mods it's easy to get into minor hassles and troubles, best to just save up say another 1000 and drop it off at a shop to install and tune everything all at once rather than piece stuff together unless you really, really know what you are doing.
